October 26, 2004 – Initial meeting with Virginia House Delegate Rob Bell of Charlottesville to discuss ideas for anti-bullying legislation to be introduced during the 2005 Legislative season.

"Since October I have worked in tandem with Delegate Rob Bell of the Virginia Legislature; and the facts, figures, research and proposed language I presented him were the catalyst for creating two anti-bullying bills, HB 2226 and HB 2267.  I lobbied extensively in Richmond in support of both bills and testified during the committee hearings.  I'm pleased to report that these bills have now been passed and are scheduled to be signed by Governor Warner on April 5."
