January 30, 2006 – Recital and Fundraiser by students from George Mason University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts at Dolce Vita Restaurant for the benefit of Friends of Music at GMU. This performance resulted in an endowed scholarship for $25,000 for future music students at GMU.

February 11, 2006 - Queen For A Day Service Project at Children's Hospital in Washington, D. C.
Six local title holders gathered with many other volunteers to provide a day of pampering and mentorship to young girls who are fighting cancer at Children's Hospital in Washington, D. C. Thanks to Branda Napper of Queen For A Day, Lynn Hardesty of Children's Hospital, and all the volunteers for helping make this wonderful event so much fun and such a huge success!

March 5, 2006 – Guest appearance arranged through USO at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and also at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D. C. with Rose Lopez-Keravuori, Mrs. Virginia America 2005

Hi Everyone,
I spent the day Sunday at Walter Reed Medical Center and Bethesda Naval Hospital with Rose Keravuori, Mrs. Virginia. It was an amazing day and I am SO grateful for the soldiers that I met. Each one had their own special story to tell, and each one wouldn't let me leave without letting me know how grateful they were for the opportunity to serve their country. They had such strong spirits and demonstrated to me just how much more I could be doing. I am grateful for the Miss America organization because it has given me a chance to show my appreciation to people for all of the wonderful things they do. I know I probably won't ever be in a position to give a limb, or a life for that matter, but I will do my best to make a difference in the world.
Thank you to all of you who have supported me in my journey!
