January 24, 2005 – Adrianna testified for HB2266 during
the House Education Subcommittee hearing.

Adrianna with Kim and Chris Brancato, parents
of a child who attempted bullycide.
Because of their son’s courageous survival, the Brancatos
were also very involved in working with Delegate Bell, as
well as in lobbying extensively for passage of HB2266. This
photo was taken in front of the West Conference Room, where
the House Education Subcommittee hearing took place. Adrianna
and Chris Brancato both gave heart-wrenching testimony of
their experiences with bullying. The bill passed the Subcommittee
hearing with a victorious 9-1 vote.
